Description[]
Still reigning supreme as one of the best light class 'Mechs on offer, this rendition of the Cougar drops it's AMS ability in favor of faster, more responsive movement as well as a new, more efficient Autocannon.
Weapons[]
As a fast-moving fire support 'Mech, the Cougar sports all the same weapons as it's previous iterations with a twist. What was well known and respected as a competent missile based platform has had more focus placed on it's modified Autocannon. This new Autocannon shoots faster, hits harder and generates less heat than it's previous counterparts and as a result, will be fitted on a wide array of 'Mechs.
Defenses[]
With a lower amount of armor than other 'Mechs in it's class, the Cougar's survivability is dependent on the skill of it's pilot. It's JumpJets can be used to reach areas that heavier 'Mechs simply cannot and this can be used to bring it's LRM launchers to bear on unsuspecting opponents. A coordinated lance should always leave space open for this fire-support monster.
