Summary
MechAssault Wiki has a list of offenses that can get a user blocked from the wiki. The length of time that the user should be blocked is based on a point system. Depending on what the user has done and how many offenses they committed, they will receive a block for a set period of time equal to the value of the amount of points they've incurred. MechAssault wiki does not employ permanent blocks, otherwise known as "permabans", on its users no matter their offenses.

Main Articles
The contents of the proceeding articles shall be enacted as official policy of MechAssault Wiki and shall not under any circumstances be circumvented or ignored. The contents of the following articles may be subject to change. Revision of the contents of the following articles shall be made possible through a community wide popular vote proposed by any member of the MechAssault Wiki community with an edit count and/or number of posts equaling 100 or greater and shall be conducted in a community Forum over the period of 7 days (168 hours / one hundred and sixty eight hours). MechAssault Wiki Staff holding the position of Bureaucrat shall have the sole authority to make amendments to the proceeding articles without requiring a community vote beforehand.
Article 1
It is the policy of MechAssault Wiki that any user who commits the following offenses shall be punished for said offenses by MechAssault Wiki Staff in the form of a temporary block from MechAssault Wiki for a period of time judged to be accordingly severe in proportion to the user's offenses as defined in Article 4. No user of MechAssault Wiki regardless of standing or administrative rank shall be considered unanswerable for their actions and will be held accountable for any offenses made as defined by the proceeding articles.
Article 2
It is the policy of MechAssault Wiki that the member(s) of the MechAssault Wiki Staff tasked with dispensing penalties for users who have committed violations in the form of the proceeding offenses shall list and tally the offending user's known violations, that have been as of yet unpunished, into a point system to determine the severity of the user's sentence in punishment for said offenses and length of any subsequent block from MechAssault wiki based on the number of points attained in reference to Article 4.
[-]Subsection 2-1: The member(s) of MechAssault Wiki Staff tasked with sentencing and enacting an offending user's block shall have the discretion to enact a minimal or maximum sentence defining the length of time in which the offender shall be blocked in accordance with the minimal and maximum duration based on the offender's accumulated points incurred by unpunished violations as defined in Article 4.
Article 3
It is the policy of MechAssault Wiki that no user should receive a block exceeding the maximum duration of time equal to the severity of their known offenses based on the number of points accumulated as defined in Article 4. It is the specific policy of MechAssault Wiki that no user should under any circumstances be issued a block greater than the duration of 2 years (730 days / seven hundred and thirty days) regardless of their offenses.
[-]Subsection 3-1: No user of MechAssault Wiki who has been subjected to a block shall be able to be blocked again or have a current block extended on the grounds of previous unpunished offenses predating the institution of the initial block in which knowledge of said prior offenses was only made known to or chosen to be acted upon by MechAssault Wiki Staff after the user's initial block was enacted.
[-]Subsection 3-2: No user of MechAssault Wiki who has been subjected to a previous block shall have the knowledge of said previous block or the offenses committed to warrant said block held against them as additional fault if said user is to be subjected to penalties for additional offenses made following the expiration of the previous block.
[-]Subsection 3-3: No user of MechAssault Wiki shall be punished in the form of a block from MechAssault Wiki on the grounds of presently or having been locally blocked on any other FANDOM/Gamepedia community with the exception of MechAssault Wiki's related communities MechWiki and BattleTech Fannon Wiki of the FANDOM network, and BattleTech Wiki and MechWarrior Online Wiki of the Gamepedia network. Any user found to have an active block on any of the aforementioned affiliate wikis shall receive a block from MechAssault wiki equal to the remaining block time the user has been issued on said affiliate wikis or a block of 2 Years (730 days / seven hundred and thirty days) instead if the user's remaining block time from said wikis equals or exceeds 2 Years with the inclusion of indefinite blocks in accordance with MechAssault Wiki's policy against the use of indefinite blocks as defined in Article 3.
Article 4 / Offenses and Punishments
MechAssault Wiki Staff tasked with sentencing and enacting an offending user's block are instructed to use their best judgement in deciding which among the proceeding statutes offenses shall be classified under.
Punishable offenses committed by users of MechAssault Wiki and the points incurred by said offenses are as follows:

The duration of punishment in the form of a temporary block from MechAssault Wiki for offenses made in accordance to the preceding articles shall be determined by reference of the following:
