MechAssault Soundtrack[]

Apart from the Main Menu theme, all tracks are structured into a series of 7 for each of the three world biomes that are played in. The tracks are structured as: "Ambiance" which will play outside of combat, "Recon" which will play when enemies are nearby, 2x "Battle" which will play when fighting regular enemies, and 3x "Assault" which will play when fighting an enemy BattleMech.

Lone Wolf Soundtrack[]

Just like in the previous game, the soundtrack of Lone Wolf is structured as "Ambiance-Recon-Battle-Assault", however while MechAssault structured its soundtrack around the different biomes of planet Helios with 7 tracks to each biome, the Lone Wolf soundtrack is structured around the different planets that are played on with 4 tracks to each world. Unlike in the previous game, Lone Wolf uses 2 licensed music tracks in addition to its original soundtrack for use exclusively in the game's two main boss battles.

MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf uses 2 licensed tracks to highlight the game's boss battles against the Spider 'Mech and the Uber 'Mech. Unfortunately because these tracks are not apart of the MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf Original Soundtrack, these tracks cannot be shared on Fandom due to their copyright status. The tracks in question are "Getting Away With Murder" by Papa Roach, which plays during the Spider 'Mech battle, and "Right Now" by Korn, which plays during the Uber 'Mech battle and during the game's credits sequence.
